at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Mittal received his training from well known pathologists including Dr. Juan Rosai and Dr. Darryl Carter. He is Director of Surgical and Obstetric-Gynecologic Pathology at Bellevue Hospital, NYU Medical Center, New York. Dr. Mittal has largely limited his practice to obstetric
and gynecologic pathology and has extensively published in peer reviewed journals. He is a member of the editorial board of International Journal of Gynecologic Pathology.
